Coding is the process of writing instructions that a computer can read and then execute. Students must understand the problem they want to solve, design the solution, and then code it in a form the computer can understand. Robotics adds the use of sensors and motors to accomplish this process in the real world. Students can literally see the outcome of their proposed solutions as they go through the problem-solving process until the task is completed and the robot performs the desired actions.
